Custom Seed Mix Service

For people who live on the interface of urban and wild lands, TPF’s Custom Seed Mix Service is an ecologically-minded option for seeding on private property (not wild or public lands). Following a personal consultation with Seed Program staff, we will carefully design a mixture that considers the naturally occurring native plant community in your area and which local species will perform best in your climate. This enables you to simultaneously make landscape choices that support the local ecosystem and address your site-specific needs. Custom mixes perform in a variety of situations, including slopes that need stabilization, gardens, pastures, and meadows, etc.

TPF’s native custom mixes are also a wonderful guest favor for private events such as fundraisers, galas, community functions, weddings, baby showers, and holiday parties!  Whether you are interested in introducing your guests to the world of native wildflowers or want to spread the word about creating urban pollinator habitat, we will work with you to create a mix that will make a memorable and treasured one-of-a-kind gift.
